ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS in CONCERT..SUNDAY the 27th, Nokia Theater at 7:30!!!! lol, I'm buying tickets, peoples and can get FRONT ROW AND PIT!! Lemme know if you wanna go and/or can get a ride..may do a carpool or just go with a friend and we'll meet up.
For starters, I really love my weekends. Friday night always consists of babysitting a 7 yr. old whom I love to death so that's a blast. Saturdays I usually go out with a friend or two, and Sundays are spent relaxing. Yaaayy..relaxing. lol. Let's see..
Friday night I kept my "little sissy", Becky, for about 4-5 hours and we watched "Willy Wonka" (which was fun for me and her) while we ate popcorn, Oreos and Kool-Aid for our dinner. Haha, I'm sure that's the only reason she loves me.
On Saturday, Emily and I were going to go over to Vista Ridge for the Ryan Cabrera concert, but..we decided not to. *grins* And from what I heard, I'm glad we missed it. lol. So instead she came over at about 5:30, picked me up and we headed over to Rave. Northeast sucks, btw. lol. Grapevine is a much better mall..at least in my opinion...they've got more stores. Anyways, we walked around the mall and in Claire's we definitely tried on antlers and little Christmas headbands with bells on them. I tell ya...we were soooo cool. And we saw 2...or 3...can't remember...of my boyfriends. *dies* (Inside jokes, folks.) Along with some dude who couldn't have been more than 14 and 5'3" walking all around and saying "Charlottttteeee!!! Get out of therrrreee!" on his cell phone. Which then, for some reason, caused us to burst out laughing. Umm..*thinks*. We went into this one..store..*shifty eyed* with all this electronic stuff and these chairs that vibrate and shtuff and this one guy with poodle-triangle hair most definitely checked Emily out. Ohhh, and we found socks which made us happy to touch along with a guy in a SEXAY vest which Emily just wanted to rip off of him. *big grin* ANNND, we went into Sam Goody to look at CD's and shtuff and I ended up getting an All-American Rejects CD, "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton" DVD and something else which I cannot remember at this time. Anyways, to get back on track - We almost died from laughter in one of the isles because we heard this really retarded music coming from one of the radios. I swear, it sounded like The Chipmunks. You know that Christmas CD that The Chipmunks have? Well yeah...that's EXACTLY what it sounded like so Emily started to do a singing Chipmunk impression which made me laugh SO HARD. I swear...I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while. lol. Then there was this guy...salesperson...person who kept following Emily and I around so when I got ready to checkout, I gave Emily the money and talked her into going up and checking out for me because he was in the only open lane. Sooo, she fought a little bitttt, but then was a nice friend and did it for me. haha. So here she was in line and I was behind this CD rack acting like a complete idiot getting her laughing. She would look over at me, and I'd slowly lower whatever I was holding then raise it back up really quick. Or peek through the metal bars on the rack and then try to hide back behind them acting like nobody in the store was able to see me (the rack was only about the width of a CD). And I did quite a few other things just being really stupid which made her laugh in the line making her look insane since she was just dying laughing by herself. When she got up to the register, I darted back behind her where she couldn't see me and I picked up this CD..ya know..just to act like I was looking at CD's while I was really trying to over-hear what the guy was saying to her 'cause I kept seeing her shake her head. Well this guy came over to me.....
Guy> "Oh man you like Anthrax?!" Me> *thinks the guy is talking to someone else and doesn't pay attention* Guy> *pokes my shoulder* Me> *turns with this "buzz off" look on face* Guy> *raises his eyebrow* "Do you like Anthrax?" Me> "Huh?" Guy> "The band..Anthrax" *points to CD I'm holding* Me> "Oooooh THAT Anthrax. Yeah, they're pretty cool." Guy> "What song do you like best?" Me> *casually looks down to see a song and says the title* Guy> "Really? Wow. That's cool. That one's my favorite, too." Me> *notices Emily hasn't stopped shaking her head and is getting ticked* "Excuse me one sec." (I thought I would call and "save her") *picks up phone and dials Emily's cell number* Emily>*flips open cell phone, laughs* "I hate you" Me> *dies laughing* Guy> *stares at me with this weird look* Me> *notices Emily's finally gotten away from the checkout and is literally running out of door* Guy> "So do you come here mu.." Me> *interrupts and gently shoves CD on his chest* "Buh bye" Guy> *says something as I'm running out catching up with Emily*
Heh, just hadddd to share that. She and I thought it was funny.
Okay, back to the mall. Umm..while we were going to get a Frulatti, we ran into a couple guys she knows. I was SOO biting my tongue trying not to tell them to "bugger off". Haha. After we got done with the mall, we sat in the truck trying to figure out where to go and what to do, then we finally decided to go back to Grapevine and go eat at Mimi's then we headed over to Barnes & Noble. She bought the Rascal Flatts DVD which is reallyyyy cool and I definitely recommended it. And I got a Good Charlotte DVD which has "Riot Girl" on it..<3..along with about 12 other songs from a concert of theirs. Oh and I got a couple books which kinda freaked Emily out. lol. Let's just say the titles and book covers are interesting. Anyways, on the way back we definitely raced Elmo and Zoe and shoved the roar of the truck's engine in their face. Muahahahahahahaha.
Well that was our Saturday of disturbing the peace..which I think we really did. lol. For the next chapter of "A Day/Night with Emily and Caitlyn" stay tuned for next Thursday the 17th. haha. |
